This Flicx Pitch repair guide was created for the unlikely event, that your pitch needs repairing… say it has been run over by the lawn mover blade! Rather than buying a whole new mat, Flicx can provide a replacement tile that you can insert into your pitch in around 5 minutes. Follow our guide below to ensure the best possible quality on the repair…
Step 1 – Loop the pitch up
Step 2 – Repeat on the other side then snap together so the pitch comes apart
Step 3- Snapped apart Flicx Pitch
Step 4 – Insert the replacement tile and mallet into place
Step 5 – Get rid of excess
Step 6- Place on block where the break needs to be made and turn up side down
Step 7- Use a screwdriver and mallet to reverse the joins in the tile so it detaches
Step 8 – Place in the pitch and cut off any excess joins. Click any other pieces back into place and play!
Please note you will only need to use a screwdriver and mallet to disengage the it lengthways (vertically)… Joins running horizontally (across the pitch) should be broken using the loop, snap process. Any further questions do feel free to contact us in the Flicx UK office on 01295 816765.

Cluj Cricket Club celebrate the award of a Flicx Pitch
“Thanks to the outstanding generosity and assistance from Flicx UK and ICC Europe, we are now looking forward to developing the skills of Romanian’s in our region. With only 8 active clubs in the country, and only 1 inside a 150km radius of the city of Cluj-Napoca, we are hoping to have at least three in this region for next year’s completion. Suitable places to play has been a problem for us in the past. But, with the Flicx mat, a good standard of cricket is now going to be seen in places where, before, it may not have been possible. In addition, our training sessions are going to be so much more focused with a consistent surface. Thank you!” – Marc Pillich-Wright, Cluj Cricket Club

Children of the Dawn is a public benefit organisation caring for over 820 rural orphaned and vulnerable children in South Africa, including 360 teenagers.
Ruth and her Dawn Children — in Lenyenye, Limpopo.
Children of the Dawn has recently been using the sport of hiking and the world of mountaineering. 360 rural teens have been participating in 36 hikes around South Africa, gaining fitness, self-confidence and a better understanding on how to persevere. Our programme allows young people to develop inner strength, achieve goals beyond self-imposed limits, and also shows success in improving their mental health.
These hikes led to the selection of 8 rural orphaned and vulnerable teenagers who will take the trip of a lifetime to hike around the Mont Blanc in July 2013. We are creating a New Dawn on Mont Blanc for our beneficiaries. A New Dawn on Mont Blanc has received the label “South African Season in France” (www.france-southafrica.com) So far Children of the Dawn has raised over 70% of the funds needed for this innovative programme. A donation however large or small will go a long way in making sure we can bring new experiences to the lives of young ones who otherwise wouldn’t dare to dream.
