I remember watching cricket matches with my Dad sitting in his lap, screaming in chorus with his excitement. Slowly, the game became my passion as well. I used to play with kids from my neighbourhood. We used to play and fight and later laugh on it. We made up a team of 8 kids and started playing kids from other neighbourhoods. Over the same time I used to play cricket at School. Cricket at School means lots of kids waiting for their turn. So the Cricket at School used to be continuous with long breaks in between when we used to attend lectures. School time for us used to be long recess from Cricket.
During this period, I started playing at School Team. Then came College, cricketing was shortened to weekends alone. Joined a job after college and Cricketing totally stopped. After 6 years came to Estonia, found the Estonian Cricket Association and joined them. Started help coaching Juniors and Women’s team. Found the same old Cricketing Spirit back inside me. Few weeks of good performance, but unfit physique, body pain, muscle pull slowed the performance. but the Spirit of Cricketing kept me going. Now I overcome the challenges and hope to perform better.
