Clubs at the event were clearly impressed with the new surface which has many benefits including improved ball bounce and better seam and spin performance versus its predecessor. In addition the 2G range has 2 new designs, the 2G Flicx Skills pitch and the 2G Eagle-eyed pitch which are great coaching aids with bright colours and markings helping players bowl a more consistent line and length whilst supporting batting decision making.

Managing Director Richard Beghin outlined some of the applications of the new 2G Flicx Pitch, which is now UK made and in stock at Flicx UK for immediate delivery ahead of the new season. “The softer nature of the 2G product means that we believe it is the perfect surface solution for the indoor game. The pitch rolls out flat the bounce is very consistent which allows clubs to have a high standard of winter training. In addition it’s a great match surface for both juniors and seniors, and means any flat surface or sports field can be transformed into a cricketing venue as well being an instant solution to upgrade a worn synthetic surface
